Gum Disease or periodontal disease or Pyorrhoea are the most common diseases affecting the human population. Periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, is an infection of the tissues that support the teeth. Your teeth are supported by gum tissue, connective fibers that anchor the tooth root into its socket, and bone. Gum disease (Gingivitis) often develop slowly without causing any pain and can begin at any age, sometimes you may not have any symptoms until the disease has advanced and spread to the supporting bone (Periodontitis).These serious infections, when left untreated, can lead to tooth loss.
